Virginia Sue Cage 1947-2026
WARREN — Virginia Sue “Gini” Cage, 78, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, surrounded by family after a brief but courageous battle with leukemia.
Born Nov. 15, 1947, Gini proudly graduated from the Warren G. Harding High School Class of 1965, where she forged long-lasting friendships and met the love of her life, her husband of 59 years, Thomas Cage. Her greatest joy was her family. We were inseparable.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Cage; her daughters, who along with Gini were known as “The Three Peas,” Tamara Fraser (Martin Meszaros) and Kelly Cage (Todd Dubasik); the other love of her life, her grandson, Corey Gadd; and her brother, David (Sue) Musgrove.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Jane Musgrove, and her sister, Marla Musgrove.
Gini lived life to the fullest — whether it was lying on the beach in Fort Myers, painting the van for Jimmy Buffett concerts, drinking screwdrivers and hitting the slots in Las Vegas, playing a good game of “Murder Ball” in the pool, spending time with her two cats, Vinney and Clapton, or sitting on her deck playing cards and watching “Friends” with her husband and grandson — she enjoyed every single moment.
Anyone who knew Gini loved her. She was kind, adorable and hilarious. She was our “cruise director” and she was larger than life.
She will be dearly missed.
“Bubbles Up, Mom.”
