Ruby K. Nagy 1938-2026

She was born July 5, 1938, in Mineral Ridge, the daughter of Jesse and Dora Stephenson Arrowood, and lived in this community her entire life.

She was a custodian for the Niles City Schools for many years and a member of AMVETS Post 106 Auxiliary in Niles.

She enjoyed shopping, going on trips with her girlfriends and later in life talking about food. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her loving children and grandchildren.

Ruby is survived by a son, Stephen D. Nagy Jr. of Niles; daughter, Stephanie Marie Nagy Clemens, also of Niles; six grandchildren, Kyle, Katie, LeeAnna, Austin, Kaylie and Ayden; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Frances Bright of Leavittsburg; special friend, “Duncan”; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen D. Nagy Sr., whom she married Nov. 21, 1970, and who passed away Nov. 19, 1977; and siblings, infant Mary Lee Arrowood, Clettis Arrowood, James Arrowood, John Arrowood, Mary Gee, Rebecca Morgan, Josephine Moss, Beatrice Holbrooks and Betty Zimmerman.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
