Robert D. Pearce 1956-2026

He was born Jan. 18, 1956, in Warren, to Warren Pearce Jr. and Jean Palmer Pearce.

Robert was a 1974 graduate of Howland High School and later attended ETI trade school. He was a true jack of all trades who enjoyed working on cars and carpentry. He enjoyed taking rides with his wife in their Corvette. Robert was known for his hardworking nature and ability to fix just about anything.

Above all else, Robert cherished his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and adored his wife, Nancy, whom he married May 15, 1976. Together they recently celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage.

He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Pearce Jr.; his sister, Sherry Weese; and his brother, Gary Pearce.

Robert will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Nancy Pearce; his sons, Robert (Angelina) Pearce II, Michael (Jessica) Pearce, Justin (Anastasia) Pearce and Ryan (Rachael) Pearce; and his beloved grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Joseph, Alexander, Michael II, Curtis, Gary, Vladimir Smith, Owen and Reagan Pearce. He also leaves behind his mother, Jean Palmer Pearce, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel. Interment will follow in All Souls Cemetery.
