Robert A. Kasmar 1947-2026

He was born Dec. 12, 1947, a son of the late Andrew Kasmar and the late Irene Hornyak Lewis.

Robert A. Kasmar married Deborah L. Bowling on Aug. 29, 1978. Together they shared 47 years of marriage and wonderful memories. He was a 1966 graduate of Mathews High School. He went on to retire as an Artis cutter from Packard Electric.

He was a mechanic. His passion was building model cars. Robert was an avid reader, and he really enjoyed crossword puzzles. However, his greatest joy was found in his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Deborah L. Kasmar; children, Jessica Joy (Donald) Loosemore, Anthony “Tony” (Stephanie) Kasmar and Christopher (Kristin) Kasmar; grandchildren, Britni, Brittany, Mercedes, Donald, Carter and Elliot; and siblings, Judee, Mickey and Paula.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Anne Kasmar, and brother, Andrew.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will take place.

Robert will be laid to rest privately in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273.
