Robert A. Glodde 1936-2025

He was born April 29, 1936. After graduating from Austintown Fitch High School, he joined the military at age 19, serving in the 82nd Airborne and earning the rank of specialist third class.

Robert worked at Packard Electric for 30 years as a supervisor, retiring in 1999. He moved to Florida soon after with his wife, Joan.

He loved to fish and hunt.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Glodde; his first wife, Cecilia Badger; parents, Robert and Bernice Glodde; siblings, Edward Glodde and Margaret Raupach (Eugene); stepdaughter, Michele E. Chance; stepson, Sgt. Michael P. Kunovich, SJSO; and nephew, Chris Glodde, who recently passed away.

He leaves behind his children, Bob Glodde (Donna), Suzy Pierce (Charlie) and Jeff Glodde (Terri); stepchildren, Kathryn Joyce (David), Mary Jo Cusack (Jim) and Charles Kunovich; and siblings, Terrence Glodde (Donna), Jim Glodde and Rebecca Glodde. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, who miss him very much.

A celebration of his life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the chapel in Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield.
