Marjorie A. Marlowe 1946-2026

WARREN -- Marjorie A. Marlowe, 79, of Warren, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Gillette Nursing Home.

She was born on June 6, 1946, in Warren, a daughter of the late Andrew J. and the late Amelia Savanyu Mayoros.

She married James Arthur Marlowe Sr. on Aug. 23, 1969.

She was a graduate of Champion High School and went on to Nashville Auctioneer School to study and became one of the few early female licensed auctioneers in Ohio. She then went on to own and manage Marlowe's Pine Ridge Auction for many years.

Marjorie loved animals, watching the birds, and being a proud grandma to her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, James Alan (Stephanie) Marlowe of Warren; brother, John (Arlene) Mayoros of Leavittsburg; three grandchildren, Nathan, Kameron and Landon; nephew, Chris Mayoros of Leavittsburg; and many extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, James A. Marlowe Sr.

As per Marjorie's wishes, there will be no services at this time and cremation has taken place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
