Katherine L. Boob 1945-2026
NILES — Katherine Lee Boob, 81, died Saturday, May 16, 2026.
She was born March 18, 1945, in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of Ruth Jane McCord and Claire Lorraine Wallace.
She was employed as a nurse’s assistant.
Survivors include her children, Andrea, Michael, Christine and Shawn Kotsol, and Paul Mann; stepchildren, Kelly Boob and Heather Williams; sister, Patricia Margarf; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold William Boob; her son, Troy Kotsol; and one sister.
Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with a service at 6 p.m.
