Joshua Fenstermaker 1981-2026

Joshua was known for his hardworking spirit, kind heart and infectious laugh that could light up any room. He deeply loved the outdoors and found peace and happiness four-wheeling and hunting at his beloved cabin in West Virginia. More than anything, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Joshua dedicated many years to the construction industry and took great pride in his work. He worked as a project superintendent for Karvo Companies and worked for Chagrin Valley Paving.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Milton Fenstermaker; his grandmother, Ruth Fenstermaker; and his grandfather, Jim Kovar.

He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved daughter, McKayla Fenstermaker (Jackson Rusnak); his mother, Kim Kontur (Ronald Kontur); his father, Barry Fenstermaker (Melanie Fenstermaker); his grandmother, Louise Kovar; his brother, Matthew Fenstermaker; his sisters, Jessica Fenstermaker and Akira Lucas; his cherished niece, Chloe Fenstermaker (Juston Shorts); nephews, Skylar Fenstermaker, Jacob Papp and Caelan Schoolcraft; his longtime partner, Nicole Libertino; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and dear friends.

Joshua’s encouraging spirit, strong work ethic and love for those around him will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Friends and family may gather from 5 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
