Harry D. Morrow Jr. 1948-2026
CHAMPION — Harry D. Morrow Jr., 77, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 8, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
He was born May 27, 1948, in Warren, the son of Harry D. Sr. and Elsie Ann Masaitis Morrow.
A 1966 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Harry retired from Packard Electric after a long career as an Artis cutter. In 1967, Harry served in the Vietnam War as a medic in the United States Army, achieving the rank of SP5. He enjoyed watching football on TV, his favorite teams being the Cincinnati Bengals and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He liked to go to the casino and would blast the radio all the way there. His love for music was evident in his large record collection, and he worked as a disc jockey at one time.
Precious memories of Harry live on with his beloved wife of 57 years, Rochelle Golembowski Morrow, whom he married Oct. 12, 1968; two daughters, Christine Torres and Cynthia Morrow, both of Warren; five grandchildren, Jessica Rickard (Robert), Samantha Morrow, Craig Morrison, Sabrina Morrow and Chito Torres (Brooke); five great-grandchildren, Isabella Vernucci, Cashton and Olivia Plotts, Daniel Gwinn Jr. and Ivey Hacker; and other family and friends who love Harry and think of him fondly.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his granddaughter, Alisha Morrow; and two brothers, Gary and Edward Morrow.
Services are private.
