Edward M. Wargo 1943-2026

APOLLO BEACH, Fla. — Edward M. Wargo, 82, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 26, 2026. He was a former area resident and a 1961 graduate of Leavittsburg High School.
Edward was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a proud member of IBEW Local 573 Trumbull County Electrical Workers.
For 24 years, he spent his summers in Angliers, Quebec, Canada.
He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.
Edward is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda; son, Christopher; former daughter-in-law, Denise Wargo; and his grandson, Trenton Wargo. Also surviving are his brother, Daniel (Helga); his sister, Darsita (Jim); and his brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Diana) Fodor.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey M. Wargo; his mother, Bertha Wargo Rew; his father, Michael L. Wargo; his stepfather, Vern Rew; and his brother, Ernest.
Edward will be interred at a later date in Pine Knoll Cemetery, Warren Township.
