Donald B. Smith 1946-2026
WARREN — Donald Barrett Smith, 79, died Saturday, May 9, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital, following an extended illness.
He was born May 29, 1946, in Omar, W.Va., a son of Joseph Smith and Jessie Vanable.
He was employed at Delphi Packard Electric, a member of Third Christian Church and an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his sons, Donald Bradley Smith and Timothy Barrett Smith, both of Columbus; daughters, Marcia Lewis of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Deirdre Goliday and Beverly Michelle Locke, both of Warren; sisters, LaSharon Smith of Morgantown, W.Va., and Eglociree Walker of Warren; 38 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Blue Smith, five brothers and one sister.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Third Christian Church, Warren, with a funeral at 11 a.m.; and 10 to 11 a.m. May 30, at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, with a service at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown, W.Va.
