Dolores J. Liberati 1937-2026

She was born June 8, 1937, in Niles, the daughter of Michael and Alice Dzak Lepo.

Dolly, as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

She was the owner of the Calico Cupboard in Niles for many years and enjoyed flower gardening.

The time that she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, was very dear to her. She was affectionately known as “Bubba” to them.

Dolly enjoyed crafting, reading, watching movies and rooting for the Cleveland Guardians.

Dolly is survived by her son, Edward (Cindy) Liberati of Columbus; her daughter, Cristina (Gregg) Scharrer of North Royalton; eight grandchildren, Cristina (Samantha) Stauffer, Preston Stauffer, Blake (Devona) Liberati, Hannah Liberati, Sean (Annie) Liberati, Chtristopher (Anna) Scharrer, Alexis Scharrer and Megan Scharrer; and one great-grandchild, Codi Stauffer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Liberati, whom she married Sept. 21, 1963; her daughter, Brenda Liberati Stauffer; and a brother, Robert Lepo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Thursday, May 14, at St. Pope John XXIII Parish-Our Lady of Mount Carmel Campus.

Family and friends may call 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, OH, 330-652-2422.

Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
