Tina J. Sayers 1959-2026

Born May 17, 1959, in Warren, she was the daughter of the late Martha J. McKahan Pickens and Russell W. Pickens Sr.

Tina was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Rogers, and her brothers, Russell W. Pickens and Thomas L. Pickens.

Tina was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished time with her family. She is survived by her children, Melinda (Fred) Coleman, Wendi (Carl) Hlaudy, Kayla (Matt) Billock and Zameon Rogers; eight grandchildren, Brandi, Donte, Brooklynn, Jathan, Braiden, Talyah, Madisyn and Elyza; one great-grandchild, Kyrenn; and her sisters, Susan J. Robertson and Jeannie C. Corso.

Tina enjoyed the simple things in life — spending time with her children and grandchildren, going for walks, watching fireworks, cooking meals for her loved ones, playing cards, dining at her favorite restaurant, Olive Garden, and loving every animal that crossed her path.

She had a remarkable gift for making any place feel like home, offering comfort, warmth and a sense of belonging to all who knew her, and she will always be remembered for her love, strength, feisty spirit and the way she so naturally cared for those around her. Her presence brought light into the lives of many, and her legacy of compassion and resilience will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her dearly.
