Roslyn E. Williamson 1949-2026
WARREN — Roslyn Elaine Williamson, lovingly known as “Mitzi,” took her final flight and departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the age of 76.
She arrived Aug. 9, 1949, in Warren, a daughter of the late Edward Harris and Frances Stevenson Harris.
She was a proud graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and dedicated more than 33 years of her career to Packard Electric, where she worked in quality control. She was known for her strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
Roslyn was a woman who lived life in her own way. She was an active socialite, involved in many community clubs and programs, and enjoyed spending time on Facebook, watching television and visiting Mountaineer Casino. She also had an appreciation for the art of dance. Above all, she loved cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Reiko Elaine Page; her son, Richard Edward Williamson; her former husband and “best friend,” Richard Williamson; her sisters, Edwina Harris, known as “Shelley,” and Michele Thomas, known as “Sissy”; her brother, Fredrick Harris, known as “Ricky”; her grandchildren, Bryce Humphrey, affectionately known as “Willie,” BreeAnn Elaine Williamson, known as “Annie,” Brandis Williamson, known as “Bubba,” and Braylon Williamson, known as “Georgie”; as well as eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Roslyn will be deeply missed, as she was a matriarch and a true pillar of her family — her love, strength and presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
“Hey Mommy?! Did you ever know that you’re my hero? And everything I would like to be. I can fly higher than an eagle. For you are the wind beneath my wings. It might have appeared to go unnoticed. But I’ve got it all here in my heart. I want you to know I know the truth; of course I know it. I would be nothing without you. Fly, fly, so high against the sky. So high I almost touch the sky. Thank you, thank you. Thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings … Goodnight, sweetheart. Goodnight.”
No services will take place.
In lieu of flowers, we request that any donations be made to the American Lung Association.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, OH 44483, 330-394-6200. Dedicated to serving your loved ones. This obituary may be viewed and condolences sent to www.statonborowskifuneralhome.com.
