Ralph E. Tominey 1953-2026
NILES — Ralph E. Tominey, 73, passed away Thursday morning, April 9, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
He was born March 25, 1953, in Youngstown, a son of the late Patrick and Alice Gildae Tominey.
Ralph was a 1971 graduate of Niles McKinley High School before going on to attend Youngstown State University, where he achieved a degree in business administration. He worked as a clerk for the former Republic/WCI Steel and most recently for Delphi Packard
Electric Corp. in Warren, prior to retiring in 2016.
Ralph enjoyed attending concerts, working in his yard, and antique shopping. He was also an avid Cleveland Browns and Guardians fan, and a lover of all things Irish. His greatest joy was spending quality time with his beloved family and friends. All who knew and loved him will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his loving partner of 44 years, Patrick V. “Pete” Woodley of Niles; a daughter, Nicole (David) Soda of Austintown; a brother, Patrick (Coleen) Tominey of Niles; a sister, Peggy (Stan) Cranston of The Villages, Florida; a nephew, Patrick Stitt of Niles; a granddaughter, Ava; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Besides his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by two brothers, Kevin and Mark Tominey.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel, 1350 N. Canfield Niles Road, Mineral Ridge.
Friends may call one hour prior to services from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest in the Green Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Canfield.
