Paula Ann Sortini 1963-2026
NILES — Paula Ann Sortini, 62, of Niles, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026, at Hospice House in Poland.
She was born April 17, 1963, in Warren, the daughter of Robert and Phyliss Ascione Ziegler.
Paula was a member of St. Pope John XXIII-St. Stephen Parish and was the manager of the Eagles Nest at Macali’s Giant Eagle.
She enjoyed the time she spent at the family cabin at Lake Milton, boating, walking the dogs and traveling with her daughter.
Paula is survived by her loving husband, Mario Sortini, whom she married on April 30, 1988, her daughter, Angelina Sortini of Cleveland, two brothers, Philip Ziegler and Gregory (Shelly Horn) Ziegler; her father-in-law, Sal Sortini; two brothers-in-law, Jerry (Albina) Sortini and Frank Sortini; and by many loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law, Joann Sortini.
A Rite of Christian Burial will be held at noon, Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, OH. 330-652-2422. Father Leo Wehrlin will be the celebrant.
