Norma J. Newmiller 1933-2026

CHAMPION — Norma J. Newmiller, 92, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born Sept. 1, 1933, in Grove City, Pa., the daughter of Andrew and Anna Krafcheck Trocheck.
A graduate of Howland High School, Norma worked 26 years as a secretary for Champion Schools. A member of St. William Catholic Church, Norma was active with the General Motors retirees. She and Bill loved to travel, especially on bus trips all over the country. She enjoyed sewing and yardwork, and her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Precious memories of Norma live on with her two daughters, Terri Tvaroch (Mike Burnfield) of Champion and Lynda Gintert (Jim) of Bristolville; five grandchildren, Jena, Jerrod (Melissa) and Joshua Vastag (Casey), Brandon Gintert (Carly) and Kate Hartung (Mathew); eight great-grandchildren; her sister, JoAnn Smith of Niles; and other family and friends who love her and think the world of her.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her beloved husband of over 64 years, William C. Newmiller, whom she married May 2, 1953, and who passed Nov. 23, 2017; and her sister, Dolores Draghi.
Calling hours are 10 a.m. to noon Monday, April 6, 2026, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where services will begin at noon. All who knew and loved Norma are welcome to attend and celebrate her lovely life.
Interment will follow in All Souls Cemetery.
