Helen S. Elias 1928-2026

She was born March 21, 1928, in Warren, a daughter of the late Matteo and Antoinette Sebastian Simone.

Helen graduated from Warren G. Harding High School. Over the years, she worked at Ohio Lamp, DiVieste’s Banquet Hall and Golden Gate Banquet Hall.

She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners and shopping to find bargains and was affectionately known as “Miss Hollywood” because of her jewelry. She loved her family.

She is survived by her son, Matt (Leslie) Elias; daughters, Georgette Elias and Simone Nocera; niece, Kathleen Massell Farlow; grandchildren, Vinnie (Kristy), Anthony “Te” (Nina), Marissa (Stephen), Dana (Kyle) and Ross (Ryann); great-grandchildren, Sofia, Zac, Tony and Millie; and caregivers, Tiffany and Connie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, George Elias; sisters, Millie Massell and Francis Salvato; and brothers-in-law, Tony Massell and Jimmy Salvato.

There are no services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
