Darla Kay Neugebauer 1945-2026

She was born June 2, 1945, in Danville, Pa., a daughter to Edith and Ken Neugebauer. The family moved to Warren during her formative years, and she graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1963.

Darla worked for the Second National Bank for several years and later at the Trumbull County Clerk of Courts, where she worked until her retirement.

Darla moved to Palm Harbor, Florida, in 2008, where she could take advantage of warm weather, beaches and golf.

Darla was a woman of great faith. Besides the activities listed above, she also enjoyed gardening, watching Ohio State football, swimming and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her sister, Jill Samu, of New Port Richey, Florida; her niece, Jenn Samu-Herbert (Steve); and her great-niece, Lauren Herbert, of Commerce Township, Michigan. She is also survived by her nephew, Scott (Bethany) Samu of Gahanna.

Her nephew, Matt Samu, preceded her in death Feb. 11, 2026.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no services.

Darla will be missed by all.
