Charles J. Belica Jr. 1940-2026
CORTLAND — Charles Joseph Belica Jr., 85, of Cortland, formerly of Champion, died Thursday, April 23, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
He was born Oct. 26, 1940, in Warren, a son of Charles J. Belica Sr. and Gladys E. Jones Belica.
Charles worked for General Motors for over 30 years.
He served in the United States Air Force for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Fulton Belica; sons, Charles J. Belica III, Scott A. Belica and James L. Belica; daughter, Shirley Reinke; son, Keith Partridge; sister, Ilene Teeple; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Partridge; a brother; and a sister.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Leavittsburg Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
Interment will be in Champion Township Cemetery.
