Brenda Heath 1956-2026

She was born Dec. 2, 1956, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late James Cottle and Dora Terrell.

Brenda was a high school graduate and worked as a hospital aide at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. She was a devoted mother who cherished her family above all else. Known for her wisdom beyond her years, she was a phenomenal cook who loved teaching her children different cooking methods. Brenda had a fun and joyful spirit that could brighten any room, yet she carried a strong and steady presence when it mattered most.

She is survived by her daughters, Nicole Corpening and Devita Richard; her son, Barry Heath (Monica); her sisters, Gail Hubbert, JoAnn Gibson, Sharon and Anner Hollan; her brothers, James Cottle and George Cottle; her niece, Crystal Terrell; and her beloved grandchildren, Archie Stanford III, Brytta Heath, Melanie Heath and Deon Richard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Heath; her brother, Ernest Cottle; and her daughter-in-law, Tarasa Dean, who grew to become very special and dear to her.

Calling hours will be 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2026, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, OH 44483. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday. All who knew and loved Brenda are welcome to attend and honor her terrific life.
