Betty Y. Kemp 1936-2026
CHAMPION — Betty Yvonne Kemp, 89, died Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Circle of Care.
She was born May 17, 1936, in Mount Gay, W.Va., a daughter of Homer and Melissa Mae Sparks Brown.
She attended Champion Church of God.
Survivors include her children, William Kemp, Audrey Lewis and Mona Smith; three grandsons; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Jack Bane and William Kemp.
Calling hours will begin at 11 a.m., with services at noon, Friday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Belmont Park Cemetery.
