Betty Sue Gardner 1961-2026

She was born July 25, 1961, in Warren, the daughter of Franklin D. Stout Sr. and Betty J. Lipscomb Stout.

Betty was a graduate of Chalker High School. She worked at Marc’s Grocery Store for many years. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Eric (Amber) Gardner of Fort Wayne, Indiana; daughter, Samantha (Alex Rossi) Gardner of Warren; brothers, Franklin (Becky) Stout Jr. of Leavittsburg, Perry Stout of Southington and Jeff (Penny) Stout, also of Southington; and grandchild, Rhoane Nichols.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Robert C. Gardner, and grandson, Mathew Nichols.

Services will take place 3 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Friends may call 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
