Annette Sandrella 1959-2026

CORTLAND — Annette “Toni” Sandrella, 67, daughter of the late William “Bill” and Mary Lou Spaw Sandrella, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, surrounded by love in the home of her sister and brother-in-law.

Toni was the beloved sister of Pam (Mark) Fiorino of Marysville, Rocky (Karen) Sandrella of Champion and Vicki (Ken) Plevyak of Cortland. She was a celebrated aunt and great-aunt to several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Toni was a 1978 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. She was a proud and loyal employee of Hillside Rehabilitation (Insight) Hospital, to which she dedicated 47 years until its closing last year. There, she made many friends and left an impactful impression.

Toni was known for her love of the Pittsburgh Steelers but even more so for the unwavering love of her family. Her smile and warmth made everyone feel welcomed. She enjoyed watching the successes of her nieces and nephews; she was always their biggest fan. Making memories and keeping traditions alive was, above all, her favorite thing to do. Toni’s huge heart and love are her everlasting legacy. She will be deeply and forever missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing such a beautiful person.
