Anne Rose Yashnik 1933-2026

She was born Jan. 3, 1933, in Brookfield, a daughter of Louis and Frances Modic Cvelbar.

Her exuberance for life was matched only by her enthusiasm for loving the Lord and her family. She also truly enjoyed helping people in all aspects of her long life and career. Anne was an avid sports fan.

Anne was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warren from 1958 until its closing. Over the years, Anne worked as a stewardess for United Airlines; was a legal secretary for 18 years with her husband, Attorney Steven P. Yashnik; and worked at the Trumbull County Veterans Service office for 37 years, where she retired at the age of 85. She also volunteered for many years at Warren General Hospital. Her most important job was being a mother and a grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer A. Smith; son, Steven L. (Renae) Yashnik; granddaughter, Hope Renae Yashnik; and grandson, Steven Peter Kenneth Yashnik.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve P. Yashnik; and siblings, Louis Cvelbar, Frances Jennings, Frank Cvelbar, Joseph Cvelbar, Edward Cvelbar and John Albert Cvelbar.

Services will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Regeneration Church, where Pastor Dick Wiedenheft will officiate.

Friends may attend calling hours from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Regeneration Church.

Interment will be in Brookfield Township Cemetery, Brookfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material contributions be made, in her memory, to Regeneration Church, 1128 State Road NW, Warren, OH 44481.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
