Alan E. Eggleston 1945-2026
NILES — Alan E. Eggleston, 80, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at his residence with his wife by his side.
He was born Sept. 6, 1945, in Staten Island, New York, the son of Archie and Grace Bailey Eggleston.
Alan was a graduate of West Farmington High School and retired from Delphi Packard Electric after 34 years of service. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a United States Navy veteran.
Alan is survived by his wife, Glenda L. McKinley Eggleston; a daughter, Allyson Grace Eggleston; a son, Alan Elliott Eggleston; a sister, Linda Andrews; and a grandson, Alexander Eggleston.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private funeral services took place Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home, with burial in Niles City Cemetery.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Harmony Care Medical Group and Grace Hospice.
