FOWLER — Timothy James Jarvis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, surrounded by those he loved and cherished most.

Born Oct. 29, 1944, to Russell and Fern Jarvis, Tim spent his youth with Vera and Bob, his younger siblings, in Fowler. Once in his high school years, he met the love of his life, Peggy (Margaret Meister). After Tim graduated from Mathews in 1962, the true adventure began, giving way to an everlasting marriage with Peg — a love that only grew stronger over the years, expanding into a beautiful family of four.

Tim made a career in the manufacturing industry, mainly involving the fabrication of steel doors and their components. The adventure continued as the demand for his skills took him and Peg to Gurley, Alabama, then to San Antonio, Texas, and after 15 years had passed, they returned to where it all began.

While his ambition never subsided in terms of his career, he shared the same passion for his personal life. Escaping into a good book, spelunking, enjoying the company of his cats and dogs, and annual cross-country trips were a few of his favorite pastimes. Traveling from national park to national park on his motorcycle with Peggy on the back was at the top of his list. It was a life well lived, with no regrets and not a wasted moment.

All who were favored by Tim’s love and friendship found a dear friend who enriched their lives by his generosity and candidness. His amiable quality always welcomed conversation, never giving any doubts to his approachable character.

Tim’s devotion to his family was never compromised; it met with a standard that is rarely seen in these modern times. It was such an unbreakable standard, one that was perfectly exemplified by the love given to the person he adored most, his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, Tim; daughter, Rene (John) Holland; granddaughter, Kari (Justin Carr); great-grandson, Caelum Carr; and sister, Vera Gates.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to Borowski Funeral Services, Warren.
