WARREN -- Nancy Eileen Kujala, born Oct. 14, 1947, to Robert and Eileen Keith, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
Nancy grew up in Cleveland and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1965.
Nancy went on to attend Kent State University, where she earned a degree in English and her license to teach high school English language arts. She dedicated nearly three decades of her life to education, teaching at the Trumbull County Joint Vocational School, later known as the Trumbull Career and Technical Center, from 1978 until her retirement in 2006. Nancy took great pride in her work and deeply valued the opportunity to guide and support her students. She was also an active member of the Career Center Education Association.
Family was the center of Nancy's life. She worked hard to provide a strong foundation for her sons, Mark Kujala (Debbie) and Robert Kujala (Rachel). While life was not always easy as a single mother, she made sure her children always had what they needed and encouraged them to pursue their own paths.
Nancy found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, Emily, Mara and Matthew. She cherished every moment with them. Many summer days were spent together with her partner, Walter Vargo, enjoying their company and creating lasting memories.
Nancy will be cremated, and her final resting place will be in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
