SOUTHINGTON -- Mary K. Medzie, 88, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
She was born Dec. 5, 1937, in Moshannon, Pa., the daughter of Harry Harrison Lucas and Carrie E. Meeker Lucas.
Mary worked at Carlisle Industries for 30 years. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society in Windham. Mary loved baking, cooking, feeding people and doing what she could to help others.
She is survived by her children, Edward J. Medzie Jr. of Champion, Mary Ann Park of Snow Shoe, Pa., Mark (Kay) Medzie of Champion and Deborah (Pete) Urick of Warren; her brother, George Lucas; her sisters, Margaret "Maggie" Reynolds and Margaret Spicer; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Medzie Sr., and 14 brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at noon Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Sager Memorial Park, Bristolville.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
