Logan W. Schuster 2002-2026

NILES — Logan William Schuster, 23, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026. He was a vibrant individual known for his ever-present smile and his genuine love for people. Logan was admired for his heartfelt habit of never leaving a room without saying “I love you,” embodying his philosophy that he truly loved to live.

Logan was born May 12, 2002, a son to Justin (Rebecca) Schuster and Michelle Schuster.

A proud alumnus of Liberty High School, Class of 2020, Logan further pursued higher education at Eastern Gateway Community College, where he earned an associate degree in business.

Logan dedicated himself to his work at Home Depot in Niles, where his excellence was recognized through numerous awards.

Logan embraced a healthy lifestyle through working out and took pride in developing his muscles — a personal achievement he cherished alongside learning to cook. Logan was an avid fan of Ohio sports teams and found joy in working on his Honda Accord, showcasing his practical skills and love for hands-on activities.

His spiritual life was marked by devotion, including a deep appreciation for prayer, self-motivation quotes and a love for his dogs, Charles and Winston.

His passing is marked by a profound act of generosity as an organ donor, poised to save between six and eight lives, underscoring his enduring spirit of giving.

Along with his parents, Logan is survived by his sister, Abigail Schuster; stepsiblings, Brayden, Mya and Abigail; grandmother, Susan Booth; grandfather, Dennis Schuster; and his best friend and cousin, Anthony Patrone. He is also remembered fondly by several cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was predeceased by great-grandparents, Carl and Gerry “Nanny” Spinden; grandmothers, Fran Pettit and Kathleen Schuster; and grandfathers, Dan Degenova and Ed Booth.

A funeral procession will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard and proceed to Niles City Cemetery, 1213 Niles Cortland Road, Niles, OH 44446, with a prayer service to honor Logan at 11 a.m. in the cemetery chapel.

Immediately following, the family would like to invite all to a memorial luncheon at Church Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Churchill Hubbard Road, Youngstown, OH 44505.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project, 909 Martin Luther King Blvd. SW, Warren, OH 44485, in Logan’s memory.

Logan’s life was a testament to kindness, dedication and a joyful spirit, leaving a lasting impression on his community and family. His memory will continue to inspire those who loved him deeply.
