James A. Ream 1947-2026
BRISTOLVILLE — James Alvin Ream, 78, of Bristolville, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born April 27, 1947, in Windber, Pa., a son of the late Alvin Ream and Mary Shearer Ream.
Jim attended the University of Pittsburgh, and worked in the steel industry 35 years prior to his retirement as a maintenance foreman at Arcelor Mittel. He also served in the Army Reserve.
In high school, Jim enjoyed running track and playing football.
He has had a lifelong passion for cars and owned many stock race cars. Jim traveled all over for racing events, including Australia and Africa. He was also a member of the Trumbull County Rod and Gun Club, where he enjoyed spending time with his brother-in-law, Mike Picuri.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Ream; daughters, Tonya Mentzer and Franki Belt; sister, Janet (John) Radman; grandchildren, Stevie, Theresa, Anthony and Danny; great-granddaughter, Felicia; and a niece, Jennifer (James) Whelley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no services at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
