Gloria A. Hart 1934-2026
WARREN — Gloria A. Hart, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at her home in Warren, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Jan. 24, 1934, to Patsy and Michelena Ianniizzaro Salvato.
A lifelong resident of Warren, Gloria was a proud graduate of St. Mary High School.
On May 22, 1954, she married Robert L. Hart Sr., with whom she shared many happy years of marriage. Together they built a family rooted in love, faith and tradition.
Gloria was a deeply faith-filled woman who devoted much of her life to her parish, St. Pius X, until its closure, after which she became a member of St. William Parish. She was an active member of several church groups, including Altar and Rosary Society and the Cursillo movement. Gloria spent countless hours in the church kitchen preparing meals for parish events, always giving of herself to serve others. Her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived her life, with devotion, humility and grace, remaining a faithful servant until her final breath.
Gloria found great joy in cooking and caring for her family. Growing up in a traditional Italian household, she expressed her love through homemade meals and time spent in the kitchen, where giving food to others was her act of love, as long as her containers were returned. She especially treasured hosting Christmas Eve and Christmas Day gatherings, bringing her family together in celebration and love.
Gloria was a devoted fan of Ohio State football and took great pride in cheering on her beloved Buckeyes. She was also an avid Warren Western Reserve Raiders fan.
She is survived by her children, Louann (Fred) Georges, Barbara Hart, Suzanne (Steve) Graham and son-in-law Nick DeJacimo; 13 grandchildren, Justin (Heidi) Graham, Stephanie (Dan) Kracker, Amber (Anthony) Acosta, Jacquelyn (James) Graham, Levi (Jeanine) DeJacimo, Jesse (Shanon) DeJacimo, Lydia (Joe) Taylor, Moriah DeJacimo, Kyle Walsh, TJ Walsh, Erika (Max) Clark, Preston (Brianna) Hart and Kennedy (Kevin) DeMoss; 12 great-grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews who dearly loved their Aunt Gloria.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Robert L. Hart Sr.; her daughter, Michele DeJacimo; her son, Robert L. Hart Jr.; her grandson, Joshua Georges; two brothers; and four sisters.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Akeso Hospice Services and Cornerstone Caregiving for the extraordinary care and compassion shown to Gloria in her final days.
Gloria’s legacy of faith, love and devotion to family will live on in all who knew and loved her.
Calling hours will be 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday with Pastor Nick DeJacimo officiating. All who know and love Gloria are welcome to attend and celebrate her good life.
