Gerald Lee Miller 1941-2026
NILES — Gerald Lee Miller, 84, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at his residence. He was born Aug. 31, 1941, the son of Adam and Fern Drown Miller, and lived most of his life in the Niles area.
Gerald worked for many years at Copperweld Steel, where he was employed as an expeditor until his retirement. He enjoyed watching Cleveland Browns football, following the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, visiting casinos, traveling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Miller; his children, Donna Miller and Teresa Huffman; his grandchildren, Andrea Sunderland, Tiffany Miller and Alex Huffman; and his great-grandson, Xavier Miller.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Fern Drown Miller; his daughter, Victoria Sunderland; his grandson, Jason Sunderland; his sisters, Janet Gallagher and Carolyn Miller; his son-in-law, Kevin Huffman; and his brother, Ronnie Miller.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fairhaven Foundation or the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County in Gerald’s memory.
Per his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
