Colleen R. Palmer 1935-2026
SOUTHINGTON — Colleen R. Palmer, 90, died Friday, March 13, 2026, at her home following an illness.
She was born in Coalport, Pa., the daughter of William and Mary Maloney. She was a 1953 valedictorian graduate of BCI High School in Pennsylvania. Colleen was devoted to her family and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Her husband, Donald L. Palmer, whom she married Dec. 24, 1955, died in 1998.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Palmer of Warren and Gregg Palmer of Wellston, Tennessee; and a daughter, Cara (Darryl) McIntosh of Bristolville. She also leaves five grandsons, Matthew Palmer, Mark Palmer and Daniel Palmer, all of Warren; Kyle McIntosh of Columbus; and Adam Palmer of South Bend, Indiana.
She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Connor, Nolan, Molly and Noah David; and by her sister, Jeannette (John) Johnson of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse; a daughter, Gale; and brothers, William, Patrick and Jerry.
A private service will be held at a later date.
