Wayma D. Owens 1954-2026

She was born Feb. 24, 1954, in Warren, a daughter of Octavia Owens and George Daniel.

She was employed at TCAP Head Start.

Survivors include her daughters, Natasha Owens, April Rodgers and Sandra Rodgers; son, Mark Owens Sr.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, George Owens, Mark Owens, Donald Daniel and David Daniel Sr., all of Warren; and her sisters, Cynthia Smith of Warren, Delores Ricks of Paducah, Kentucky, Annetta Reid of Phoenix, Arizona, and Vernetta Reid of Avondale, Arizona.

Wayma was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Hoyt Street Flourishing Ministries Church of God in Christ, Warren.
