NILES -- Robert Scott Hunyady, 47, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 6, 1978, in Warren, a son of Robert W. Hunyady and Dorothy Leasure Cessna.
Robert enjoyed anything that had to do with Star Wars, playing Magic cards with his brothers and nephews, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Robert is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Gary) Cessna of Howland; his father, Robert W. Hunyady of Niles; three brothers, Daniel A. Hunyady of Howland, and David (Christine) Rudy Jr. and Christopher (Meagan) Hunyady, both of Niles; four sisters, Brandy (Dustin) Cumberland and Christina Rudy (Ryan) Smith, both of Niles, Krystal (Matthew) Hunyady and Rebecca Hunyady, also of Niles; three nieces; and six nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Scott Hunyady.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at Holloway-Williams Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles.
Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
