BROOKFIELD -- Richard Paul Yonchak, 79, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital, in Pittsburgh, Pa., following an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 1, 1946, in Sharon, Pa., a son of Paul M. and Helen B. Belus Yonchak.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, was employed as a slitter operator at Packard Electric and was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Vienna.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy J. Bogner Yonchak; daughters, Lisa Marie Costa and Shelley Sinkuc, both of Brookfield; four grandchildren; and sisters, Paula Pinch of Surprise, Arizona, Marcia Karg of Nashville, Tennessee, and Donna Davis of Sanford, Florida.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Briceland Funeral Home in Brookfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Vienna, with military honors.
Interment will be in St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Hermitage, Pa.
