Quentin D. Brown 1988-2026

WARREN — Quentin Dewayne Brown, 38, entered safely into the arms of his Savior on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

He was born Jan. 8, 1988, in Warren, a son of Stephen Brown Sr. and Deadra D. Butler Brown.

Quentin was an outstanding student athlete and three-year letterman in football, graduating with honors from LaBrae High School. He then attended Tiffin University and Youngstown State University, where he was studying to become an optometrist. He attended Tiffin University on an athletic scholarship, where he majored in biology, with a passion for understanding the complexities of human vision and plans to pursue his doctorate in optometry. He worked in patient transport at St. Joseph Warren Hospital, where the patients loved him.

Quentin enjoyed jogging, reading, writing and singing, and he was a talented and gifted musician who played piano, organ, keyboard and saxophone. He also served as the praise and worship leader for his local church.

He was a member of Second Baptist Church, “A House of Hope.” A devoted Christian, Quentin was a quiet man, known for his kindness and huge smile. He touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Precious memories of Quentin live on through his loving mother, Deadra D. Brown of Warren; his father, Stephen W. Brown Sr. of Warren; his godmother, Pastor Carla J. Robinson of Niles; his daughter, Victorya Lynn Rose Brown of Houston, Texas; his sister, Destiny Rae Brown of Warren; three brothers, Stephen W. Brown Jr. and Chauncey V. Harris Sr., both of Warren, and Kristian Favors of Los Angeles, California; and other family and friends who love him and think of him fondly.

Calling hours are 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at Second Baptist Church, “A House of Hope,” 1510 Main Ave. SW, Warren, OH 44483, where services will begin at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Todd Johnson officiating. All who know and love Quentin are welcome to attend and celebrate his incredible life.

Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
