CORTLAND -- Michael J. Smolak, 81, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026.
He was born April 21, 1944, in Buffalo, New York, a son of Adeline and Michael G. Smolak.
He was an Air Force veteran and was employed at General Motors.
He was a member of St. Joseph Church.
Survivors include his children, Sherri Smolak, Chris Smolak and Jenna Kifer; and two grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon, with a noon service on Monday, at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
Interment will be with military honors in St. Michael's Cemetery, Newton Falls.
