Mary Alice Hostetler 1937-2026
NORTH BLOOMFIELD — Mary Alice Hostetler, 88, formerly of Ohlman Family Living at Briar in Middlefield, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, in North Bloomfield.
She was born March 15, 1937, in Uniontown, a daughter of Atlee P. and Susanna Cross Miller and stepmother, Fannie Miller.
She was a secretary and a member of Pilgrim Mennonite Church.
Survivors include her children, Dorcas Derstine of Pink Hill, North Carolina, Joel of Oskaloosa, Kansas, and Mary Beth Rhodes of North Bloomfield; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; her brother, Mahlon; and her sisters, Irene Hershberger and Betty Mast.
Mary Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Roman Hostetler Jr.; children, Nathan and Miriam Hostetler; one granddaughter; four brothers; and three sisters.
Calling hours will be 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Zion Christian Fellowship, Middlefield.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Bible Church, 15029 Enterprise Way, Middlefield.
Burial will follow in the Pilgrim Mennonite Church Cemetery, Middlefield.
