MIDDLEFIELD -- Leona Mae Ash Mello, 88, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at home.
She was born Sept. 21, 1937, in Kanawha County, W.Va., a daughter of Claude C. and F. Marie Cutlip Ash.
She was employed by Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, William Mello; daughter, Diana Tripi; son, Bill Mello; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Frank Ash.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Services have taken place.
Interment will be in Overlook Cemetery, Parkman.
