Harriett A. Fulop 1941-2026

RAVENNA -- Harriett A. Gray Fulop, 85, formerly of Newton Falls, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at Woodlands Healthcare Nursing Home in Ravenna.

She was born Jan 24, 1941, in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Harry Archer Gray and Margaret Zemaitis Gray.

Harriett married the love of her life, Kazmer Fulop, on Nov. 15, 1958, and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage together until his death on Sept. 16, 2020.

Harriett worked as an operator for Ahola for over 20 years before retiring in 2013.

She enjoyed traveling, collecting butterflies, reading and spending time with her dogs. Harriett was passionate in donating money to save Indian nations, saving the rainforest and helping abused and neglected pets.

Memories of Harriett will be carried on by her loving family: her daughter, Elaine Austin of Deerfield, and two grandchildren, Seth Akers and Kevin Akers of Diamond.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kazmer; her sister, Joan Gullata; and three brothers, James Gray, Donald Gray and Bill Parulis.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.
