Diana S. Jones 1954-2026

She was born April 10, 1954, in Warren, the daughter of Richard Paul Zimomra and Shirley Mae Crone Zimomra.

Diana lived in Newton Falls all of her life and graduated from Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1972. She married Richard E. Jones Jr. on Aug. 26, 1995; they enjoyed 30 years of marriage together. Diana worked as a cashier for E&H Ace Hardware (formerly Fair Price) in Newton Falls for over 20 years. She loved gardening, going to craft stores, planting flowers and rescuing pets of all kinds. She was also a connoisseur of many foods.

Diana was preceded in death by her father, Richard Zimomra; and a stepson, Justin Daniel Jonathan Jones.

She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Jones Jr. of Newton Falls; her mother, Shirley M. Zimomra of Newton Falls; two brothers, Donald and Melanie Zimomra of Arab, Alabama, and Jim and Jennifer Zimomra of Newton Falls; one stepson, Richard III and Ana Jones of Micanopy, Florida; three nieces; one great-niece; one great-nephew; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.

She will be laid to rest in Jackson Township Cemetery in North Jackson.
