Chase E. Miller 2009-2026

Born Dec. 9, 2009, in Youngstown, Chase was a vibrant 10th grade student at Niles McKinley High School. He was a dedicated member of the Niles McKinley Boys Soccer Team, a sport he truly loved. Outside of school and sports, Chase was an avid gamer and enjoyed the simple freedom of riding his bike. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and participating in family activities.

Chase is survived by his father, Ed Miller Jr.; his mother, Bobbi Jo Boyd and her husband, Matt Busse; his brother, Layton Busse; four sisters, Morgan Spell and her fiance, Dom, and Miranda Spell, Dakotah Busse and Harlyn Busse; paternal grandparents, Gene and Kathy Busse; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ed Sr. and Doris Miller; maternal grandmother, Ruby Geddes; uncle, Craig Geddes; and great-aunts, Shirley Boyd and Anna Riley.

Friends and family may call 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, at Niles First Christian Church, 33 N. Arlington Ave., Niles, OH 44446.

A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Christopher Stark.

In honor of Chase’s style and spirit, the family requests that guests do not dress formally. In his memory, hoodies and T-shirts are the requested attire for all those attending.
