WARREN -- Brett Clingan, 54, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, at Louis Stokes VA Medical Center.
He was born June 8, 1971, in Cleveland, the son of Robert Clingan and Linda Olsen Clingan.
Brett was a retired Army veteran. Prior to his disability, he enjoyed gardening and handcycling and was involved with his canine companion / service dog.
He is survived by his wife, Amarjit "Margie" Clingan; daughter, Zoe Clingan; son, Brett Cole Clingan; sister, Candace (Hector) Lopez of San Diego, California; nephew, Eli Lopez; niece, Cecilia Lopez, along with many other nieces and nephews; and his aunt and uncle, Deborah (Bill) Gerald.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert Clingan and Bart White; and sister, Roberta Clingan.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where friends may call 1 to 3 p.m.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
