NEWTON FALLS -- Betty Carlotta "Oma" Wyant, 77, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, at Hospice House.
She was born Jan. 24, 1949, in Taft, Tennessee, a daughter of the late David Hall and the late Lucille Jones Hall.
On Jan. 23, 1968, she married Robert E. "Opie" Wyant, and they spent the next 52 years together, happily married until his passing in March 2020.
"Oma" loved watching TV, movies, shopping for a deal and collecting jewelry.
She is survived by her son, Robert L. (Angela) Wyant of Leavittsburg; daughter, Michelle (Mary) Wyant of Warren; grandchildren, Robert E. (Esther) Wyant II, Andrea Isenberg, Alexandra (Kurt) Housh and Dylan (Beth) Wyant; as well as great-grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan and Lydia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 52 years, Robert E. "Opie" Wyant; and her brother, Stanley (Fay) Hall.
Services will be 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Dittmar will officiate.
Friends may call 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Champion Township Cemetery.
