WARREN -- Sandra Rae Easterday Venetta, 83, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at home.

Sandra was born Jan. 3, 1943, in Warren, the daughter of Wilbur and Lorna Hutton Easterday.

She was a proud graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Class of 1960, where she ranked in the Top 10 percent of her class.

Above all, Sandra was a devoted full-time mother. She was a longtime member of St. James Parish. After many years devoted to raising her children, Sandra began a new chapter once they left for college. She joined JCPenney and spent the next 22 years as a friendly and familiar face in the community as a sales associate.

She delighted in family gatherings, reunions and keeping close connections with relatives near and far. Thoughtful and generous, she never missed an opportunity to send a card or find the perfect gift to bring joy to those she loved.

Sandra enjoyed playing cards, reading and exchanging books with friends. She cherished music, good conversation and the simple pleasure of a sweet dessert. Known for her honesty, patience and calm nature, she had a way of making others feel at ease. Her easy-going approach to life reflected her faith, always leaving worries in God's hands.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Dominic, whom she married Nov. 30, 1963; her children, Larry, Pamela (Dr. Phillip Malvasi), Sandi and Diana; seven grandchildren, Francesco and Lucia Sansone, Phillip, Dominic, Ariana, Gianmarco Malvasi and Dominic Venetta; her siblings, Barbara Soltas and Ross (Beverly) Easterday; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and parents-in-law; her sister, Bunny (John) Easterday Wilkinson; brothers-in-law, Jerry Soltas and Eugene Venetta; and sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Sanfry Venetta and Joann Arrowood Venetta.

All who knew and loved Sandra are welcome to honor her memory with a donation to St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. James Church Restoration Fund, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, OH 44483.

A private service will be held for the immediate family. The family extends their gratitude for the love, support and understanding during this difficult time.
