BRISTOLVILLE -- Sally C. Baglieri Dakin, 81, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born Oct. 6, 1944, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Emanuel Baglieri and Catherine Yane Baglieri. On Sept. 28, 1968, she married the love of her life, Mickey Dakin, and they spent the next 56 years together until his passing on March 18, 2025.
She was a graduate of Rayen High School, Class of 1962. Sally went on to work at Packard Electric, retiring after 35 years.
Her favorite things to do were golfing with her girlfriends from Packard, cha-chinging with her love, watching the Cubs and Guardians, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Brody of Independence; son, Michael (Casey) Dakin of Bristolville; grandchildren, Anthony (Camryn) Dakin, Katherine Brody, Alexis Brody, Traye (Heather) Kline, Tait (Kylie) Kline and Stevi (Ethan) Arbogast; siblings, Joanne Cipriano, Diane (Erich) Kist and Vincent (Maria) Baglieri; brother-in-law, David Cross; as well as four great-grandchildren.
Sally was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Mickey Dakin, as well as her parents.
In accordance with her wishes, Carl W. Hall Funeral Home is finalizing the arrangements for cremation.
