Michael J. Wicks 1954-2025

He was born Dec. 7, 1954, in Ashland, Ohio, the son of Floyd E. Wicks Jr. and Virginia Wicks Kenski, nee Saker.

Michael was a 1971 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Warren, Ohio. He earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from The Ohio State University. He practiced law in Oregon and Arizona.

He enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles and was an ardent dog lover.

Michael is survived by his siblings, Peg Lizardy of Toledo, Ohio, Vicky (Pete) Goggin of Austin, Texas, and Floyd E. Wicks (Dee Dee) III of Santa Barbara, California; nieces, Monica Farley, Cathy Wicks and Laurie Birrenkott; nephews, Chuck Wicks, Sonny Wicks, John Wicks, Michael Lizardy, David Reyna and Michael Garasic; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Joe Wicks and Chuck Wicks.

There are no services.

Arrangements were by Red Mountain Funeral Home.
