NILES -- Lillie Marlene Madden, 79, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
She was born April 9, 1946, in Niles, the daughter of Peggey and Marie Abbott Estes.
Lillie was a 1965 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She was employed at Scarnecchia Catering and also provided independent health care for 30 years.
She was a member of St. Pope John XXIII Parish-St. Stephen Church, Niles. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Edward Madden, whom she married Oct. 8, 1980; a son, Michael Kover; two daughters, Lisa McGinnis, and Billie Jo Jones and her husband, Sam; six grandchildren, Michael Madden and his wife, Jackie; Alexis Beltran and her husband, Ricardo; Kelsey McGinnis and her fiance, Damon; Tori Kover and her wife, Meghan; Gino Dodson; and Adam McGinnis and his wife, Kaitlyn; and five great-grandchildren, Ricardo, Mateo and Mauricio Beltran, Lilith Cunningham and Mia Madden.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Vernon Estes, and a sister, Dolores Chipps.
Private services will be held at a later date.
